Educational aims of Finance (English) experimental class

The educational aim of Finance (English) programme whose curriculums are set by English and American universities’ teaching pattern is to provide students with not only internationally financial knowledge but also codes of ethics, leadership, teamwork and creativeness.

There are two teaching orientations in this programme:

·           Chartered Financial Analyst

Students will have studied all financial courses in English and acquired training closely related with English financial curriculums.

·           International Orientation

All courses are made in pattern of foreign ones and major curriculums are in English version.

Programme requirements

On completion of the programme, students need have acquired a good knowledge and understanding of:

·           comprehensively theoretical knowledge of international financial management and being familiar with financial rules and front theory within and outside the country;

·           creative thinking and lifelong learning ability in financial field and mastering modern financial theory and tools;

·           comprehensive skills including computer literacy,  mathematical ability, independent action;

·           passing Band Six of College English Test in sophomore year to ensure fluent English.

Teaching and learning methods and strategies

Teaching and learning strategies employed within the Finance (English) experimental class own characteristic methods appropriate to the programme aims.

·           Brand Construction

There are a series of measures to ensure of teaching quality and improve employment rate and quality such as high access to courses and huge amount of money.

·           Small Classes

Students will acquire leadership, teamwork, creativeness and critical thinking by the way of the increasing interaction in small class.

·           Tutorial System

Every student has all-oriented guide under his assigned tutor.

·           Going abroad

Students can choose own orientation between CFA and international one in junior. The international-oriented students can participate in programmes abroad on their own based on academic record competition. If not approved, he will continued international courses.
